Working In The Past.

I have a goal to reach in my musical endeavors, that is to create, and complete 26 projects in my career. They must be 30 min. or more, and obviously worthy of listening to. The trouble with the whole deal is, my turnover rate can't keep up with my new creativity. It is hard to capture the essence of a song you wrote months ago, and are now finally getting around to.

With that being said, I need to focus on recording songs as I write them, and try to focus on pushing my energy towards my best work yet. I am not as confident with my past work as much as I am with my current, and it gets frustrating trying to catch up before I get to my now material.

I am beginning to understand what works best for me. If I am to be excited about my music, it must be fresh to me or I get bored with it quickly. Progression is the key, but letting some work be the stepping stone for others is hard for me to do. So many beats and so many songs that just don't make the cut. I would like to utilize everything, but in reality it's impractical.
