Good Morning!

Photobucket

It's been 305 days since my last post and I finally have decided to get back to it. By no means have I not had anything to speak of or on, I just got sucked in to being busy. Being married with a new house, working, pursuing goals, hiting up 3 AA meetings a week and trying to get a round of golf in here and there can be quite consuming.

This year has been pretty interesting amongst other things. We moved into our new house in January, lived in the basement for 4 months while upstairs was being renovated(I will post before and afters). It took a while to settle in and get adjusted. By June we were pretty much settled, and things started to get back to I guess normal.

I picked up some classes at MCC the local community college and that was quite a challenge while working full time and trying to remain steady musically, aswell as take care of a new homes errands,... welcome to adulthood right?? Nonetheless I did it and it was a solid experience but by no means am I done with school.

All throughout the year with the exception of the last 60 days, I stayed fairly consistent with books and etc. Due to the beauty of technology it becomes increasingly easier to educate myself. Some of my favorite works that I came around to reading this year were; The Master Key System by Charles F Haanel, The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem by Nathaniel Branden, A Course In Miracles by The Foundation for Inner Peace, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, The Virtue of Selfishness by Ayn Rand, etc. There is at least 50 more that have been of extreme influence and support throughout the year of which the authors I am greatly indebted to. Hopefully i will have time to revisit some of these in thought with you and share some of my findings.

Musically things have been strongly consistent, hence there is always a pile of work on my desk. Currently there is 5 projects in the works that are all about neck in neck it seems which can be looked at half full/half empty. Complaints aside it has probably been my best year yet. I finally have a computer that can handle my needs, purchased Cubase 5, monitors and sub are functional, I have an official lab. It truly is amazing what you can accomplish and obtain through persistence in mind and action.

We got ourselves a little puppy by the name of Babies. She is 2.7lbs and is the cutest dog ever. She sleeps with us and loves to cuddle and it is pretty exciting just to come home and have someone jumping for joy to see you. I am not a dog person by most cases, but this little dog has definitely got me on board.

I could continue on but this has taken a while due to my lack of typing skills. I will attempt to post a few times a week from here on out.
